I sketched this chibi from C. Hart's book while watching the boys warm up for their game. It had been sprinkling off and on all day and the sky looked pretty gloomy at game time. I colored in the sketch later, while watching The Late Late Show. I should go to bed earlier, but i'm hooked on that show. Besides, laughter is supposed to be good for you!

Yes, E-J, I used colored pencil on #s 2, 3, and 6 so far. The others are watercolor. When I’m out and sketching a tiny watercolor kit is easier to keep in my purse than a case of pencils, but the pencils give such wildly bright colors that I can’t seem to get with WC. I know a lot of manga is done with markers, but for some odd reason coloring with markers just doesn’t appeal to me. I’m happy to hear that I’m getting that manga ‘look’. These are so fun to do, I feel like I’m cheating on the EDinM!!
