I have fallen so far behind with EDinM this year that I am just now posting my surrender, IN JUNE!!!! Oh well, I did manage to get it up on Flickr sooner. It is much easier to make art than to post it, that way I don't have the family complaining that I am always on the computer…….
The Wet Canvas Reference Image Gallery is a great place to find neat photos to paint from. That's where I got the idea for this sketch.
George Olson's book, Pen and Ink with Watercolor, is a gem. This is a quick workup of a demo from the book.
Had to toss in a little manga doodle. I need to tweek my scanner setting for pencil drawings, they don't show up well on screen……..

This is my Mother's Day rose from DH. I love odd colored roses, so he found this striped one for me.
I've been sick and haven't gotten around to uploading my EDinM's, plus I'm a few behind. To catch up, I'll try to post a couple extra at a time.
I was playing around in my journal with an old Conklin crescent fountain pen. I love using the old vintage pens, they are full of character and the nibs are nice and flexy.
