The kiddos had tons of wooden toys- blocks, cars, trains, even play swords. Eventually we caved into the plastic commercial stuff, but I think the simple, classic toys fed their imaginations the most.

really sweet, and has a nostalgic feel to it. I also like you hairbrush sketch.
A great sketch, this would go well with Illustration Friday this week….’toy’!
Wow you have been busy with all these fabulous ink drawings! What a great challenge, and what great results.

Lovely sketches, I admire your stamina…75 days is a long time! Love the brush!
Great drawing – excellent composition! Everything works so well, right down to the border. I love those wooden toys… even if they were more prone to some chewing love from the dogs 🙂
Being a girl, I didn’t get many cars or trucks to play with, but I do remember a small set of wooden ones that I LOVED! Nice page!
The car seems to touchable.
I haven’t been around EDM lately. Glad I came back to see this. One of my daughter’s favorite toys was a wooden car. Her brother would play with matchbox cars and she’d play along with him but with her wooden one. Wish I had it to draw now.
Fantastic! I really like the colors and how woody it looks on the pages.
